Welcome Spring!

Danny and I decided to go to the Festival of Colors this year. It was our first time going and I don't think it will be our last. It was so much fun! We went with some friends of ours, Elizabeth and Jamison Dance. The Festival of Colors is a Hindu celebration of the end of the winter and the beginning of spring. We all went to the Hindu temple in Spanish Fork and bought some colored dust. Then we all gathered around in a group and while the band was singing "Hari Krishna, Hari Rama" we threw our dust up in the air. The cloud of colored dust was so thick that we couldn't even see the people standing three feet in front of us! Danny and I just sat there laughing and coughing because we couldn't breathe. But it was awesome!

Our 6 Month Aninversary!

I can't believe that Danny and I have been married for six months already! He is everything I could ever want in a husband. We celebrated it by going to the temple that we were sealed in. Then he had to work all night. It was a super long shift so he took his XBox and hooked it up to their huge TV. I don't think he is supposed to do that but at least it made the time go by faster for him! Here are six reasons why I love him so much...

1.) He is EXTREMELY patient with me.

2.) He helps me clean the house.

3.) He always wants to give money and food to the bums on the street corner.

4.) He is EXTREMELY forgiving.

5.) He loves me despite the fact that I have dimples on my butt :)

6.) He teaches me how to have fun.

Family Time!

My Family came up for their spring break and we had the opportunity to hang out with them all weekend. Dal went to a couple of my classes, Reed went to do service with Danny. We ate really good food, told funny stories about crazy family members, played games, watched a movie, went to the museum, and went bowling. It was a weekend full of fun! I love my family and I'm so glad I got to spend time with them this past weekend.
